We bought as take out and it came is cute box and smell was amazing . Couldn’t wait to try them we also bought a Nutella one as desert! I loved the spinach one . Buy6 get one free. Totally recommend it
I stumbled across La Empanada while at Key Biscayne. We ordered to go and it came in this cute box. We also got a Nutella and Dulce de Leche for dessert, which was a great treat! I absolutely loved them. It’s a little pricey for empanadas but totally worth it. Plus, they had a buy 6, get one free offer. Definitely recommend it!

Empanadas were great! Juliana took great care of us and recommended some spectacular flavors (over 25 to choose from), all of which were fresh! The service and prices were great, and I would highly recommend this place again (especially for children - they have many “kid” flavors too)!
Omg. The dulce de leche empanada was the best thing I have eaten in a while. The chicken and cream and spicy beef were great as well. We ate all 7 in our car like weirdos— and the 7th one was free.

These empanadas were so good that we went back the next day. The store was small but clean and orderly. The staff was super kind and helpful when we had questions. The empanadas themselves were delicious. Every flavor we tried we loved! I wish I had taken pictures of the empanadas we bought but we ate them too fast.
I was feeling skeptical about trying empanadas because I don’t remember ever having one before. I ordered three- one spinach, one chicken cream and one capresse. The capresse was my absolute favorite- I wish I’d ordered more than one caprese empanada.. The other two tasted good, but weren’t remarkable; Remembering the flavor of that capresse empanada and wanting another one six hours later says it all! It’s essentially a take out only restaurant- no sitting areas in their small space. Service was just okay- she was friendly, but when I asked what was a Bechamel sauce, she only said it was a white sauce and couldn’t tell me anymore, so that wasn’t helpful. The other three in my group all got different flavors and everyone enjoyed them. All in all, I’d go back- in fact, I definitely plan to go back while I’m here in Key Biscayne!
